Presentation of work:
My first project using the scanner was in 2011 when I was studying self-representation, it is titled: "é que meu nome é um só" (My name is just one, but I'm not). And I realized that the language of the scanner can be much broader, serving not only as documentation or provision of health or safety. The technical subversion that, said Vilém Flusser, seems to really be a great way for creativity, since uncompromising with his original practice, the devices would be more open to the field of creation.
Under the scanner, the poses are more difficult and any movement promotes an interesting change in the image produced, textures and different plasticity. Furthermore, we are shown as beings who vary, made of a variety of states with only very few of them being able to be picked up by this type of image. Meanwhile, our name remains the same.
I believe that more calls my attention to explore the scanner, is its work with time and creation. Scanner bring the time and space in movement. After all, who goes? We or the time? And questions not only about the time, the image also. After all, wants to show how building only, not as imitation or representation. Creation over time. Debating the issues so important nowadays.

The work was done on Wednesday, 6 July 2011, motivated by sympathy for the great theme of self-portrayal in digital imaging, verifying the creative potential that new technologies have enabled the producers, but that is not always used or recognized. It has a total of ten images, and all of them are scanned images of my own face. There is a line that leads the eye between the work, primarily intended to provoke the viewer with a certain loss of the standard, but after it is clear that even in the first image is a face that is revealed.

I used a scanner hp 4400 without amendment and after I used an editing software.
The tone is reflective. Using overlays, transparencies and mirrors, promotes a give and to see a strangeness that intend to raise thoughts about using the artist's body as part of their own expression and questions about the self-representative images that flood the contemporary environment, especially , digital.

The series Coca-Cola was made in early 2012, working to capture movement. I used a scanner that has a "failure" leading to a central risk dividing the image, Moreover, was made use of a lamp on a mobile support that allowed I shook it while scanning in a dark room. In addition to Coca-Cola bottle, I used a cup with a very detailed basis to check the effects of lighting on him.
